SEAKEEPING ASSESSMENTS FOR OPERABILITY
Seakeeping can be a limiting factor for operability. The design and integration of roll reduction devices, either static or dynamic, can drastically improve a vessel’s operability by limiting its motions and accelerations. NOISE AND VIBRATION
Vibration of structure and noise can limit unit’s capabilities or crew comfort on-board. Assessing the whole vibration of structure is done by a complete FEM analysis. Main vibration sources are taken into account, such as engines and equipment excitations.
