On 22 December 2009, Europe officially issued COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No  37/2010 setting maximum levels for pharmacologically active substances in in foodstuffs of animal origin that's included many antibiotics: Ampicillin, Benzylpenicillin, Chlortetracycline, Colistin, Danofloxacin, Dihydrostreptomycin, Enrofloxacin,  Florfenicol, Aristolochia spp. and preparations thereof, Chloramphenicol, Chloroform, Chlorpromazine, Colchicine, Dapsone, Dimetridazole, Metronidazole, Nitrofurans (including furazolidone), Ronidazole . 

In Vietnam, Ministry of Health issuing Circular No. 24/2013/TT-MOH - Regulation on maximum residues limits for veterinary drugs in foods, beside that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) issued Circular 10/2016/TT-MARD promulgating list of veterinary drugs permitted to be marketed and banned from use in Vietnam.
