Bureau Veritas and Ton Dong A on the journey to trace Carbon for products according to ISO 14067:2018

On December 27, 2024, Bureau Veritas Vietnam awarded the Product Carbon Footprint certification according to ISO 14067:2018 to Ton Dong A - one of the leading manufacturers of cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, cold-rolled steel, colored steel, and galvanized steel pipes for the industrial and civil construction, transportation infrastructure, and household appliances industries in Vietnam.
This achievement clearly demonstrates Ton Dong A's commitment and capability in effectively managing environmental impact and promoting sustainable development. It also gives Ton Dong A a significant competitive advantage when exporting goods to the European and US markets, where countries place great emphasis on green consumer products.
At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thai Thao Vy - Director of BVC Vietnam Certification, shared the green roadmap and sustainable development trends globally, as well as the specific roadmap for Ton Dong A.
This showcases BVC's partnership with Ton Dong A. Carbon tracing according to ISO 14067:2018 is an important tool to measure, manage, and reduce carbon emissions in the production and business operations.
