BUREAU VERITAS CONTRIBUTES TO PVOIL’S FIRST SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR OF 2026 ON ENERGY TRANSITION AND THE NET ZERO ROADMAP

Bureau Veritas Vietnam was proud to participate in the first scientific seminar of 2026 organized by Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) on May 28, 2026. The seminar provided a valuable platform to discuss how PVOIL can address increasingly stringent regulatory requirements, evolving market expectations, and global climate commitments. Discussions on the development of E10 gasoline and carbon neutrality pathways reflected PVOIL’s proactive approach to supporting Vietnam’s national Net Zero target.
The seminar brought together PVOIL’s key executives and technical experts, including Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quyen, Member of the Board of Directors, and Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong, Deputy General Director and Chairwoman of the Scientific Council. Their participation highlighted the strategic importance of sustainability and innovation in PVOIL’s long-term development strategy.
As part of the program, Mr. Nguyen Huynh Thanh Phong, Sustainability Director at Bureau Veritas Vietnam, participated as a speaker, sharing practical insights based on internationally recognized methodologies and standards. His presentation focused on greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, emission reduction and management planning, and the development of a suitable Net Zero roadmap for PVOIL and its member companies.
