Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce the expansion of its Rainforest Alliance certification capability in Vietnam, strengthening our support for businesses across the country’s agriculture and food supply chains.
Following the successful completion of the qualification process, Bureau Veritas now has a qualified Vietnamese auditor who is ready to conduct Rainforest Alliance audits in the Vietnam market, in collaboration with Bureau Veritas Côte d’Ivoire.
This new capability responds to growing interest from businesses in Vietnam seeking Rainforest Alliance certification. Bureau Veritas Vietnam has already received certification requests from companies operating across agricultural and food-related sectors, including coffee and spices.
Supporting more sustainable and resilient supply chains
The Rainforest Alliance Certification Program is designed to support better farmer livelihoods, human rights, good environmental practices and climate resilience. It also helps companies strengthen supply-chain risk management through certification and traceability requirements.

The development of local auditing capability enables Bureau Veritas to bring Rainforest Alliance expertise closer to businesses operating in Vietnam.
The qualification process included training on Bureau Veritas procedures, Rainforest Alliance audit and certification rules, as well as updated Rainforest Alliance requirements.
