Seminar on
Requirements for
Food Contact Products
in the U.S. and Europe Markets

On August 23, 2023, Bureau Veritas CPS hosted a seminar titled "FOOD CONTACT TESTING REQUIREMENTS EU & US" at our Ho Chi Minh Lab, which drew over 80 clients from selective Vietnam's food contact product manufacturers and enterprises.
Ms. Judy Nguyen, a testing expert from Bureau Veritas CPS Vietnam, led the webinar. She provided updates on food contact product safety requirements for the US and European markets, including regulations on chemical content and restricted chemicals in packaging, processing utensils, and food containers.
Participants had the chance to gain an enhanced awareness of the market needs for each individual product category, allowing them to take the required steps to satisfy the appropriate standards in order to export their food contact products to demanding markets.
