On May 26, at the event launching the roadmap and action program "Vinamilk Pathways to Dairy Net Zero 2050", Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Country Chief Executive of Bureau Veritas Vietnam was honored to award the PAS 2060 Certificate to first Vinamilk farm in Nghe An on carbon neutrality according to PAS 2060:2014 Standard.

As the leading dairy company in Vietnam, Vinamilk aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 15% by 2027, reduce and neutralize 55% of emissions by 2035, and move towards net zero target - Net Zero by 2050.
Ms. Luu Thi Mai Huong, Bureau Veritas Certification Manager shared in the interview: “The implementation of a greenhouse gas inventory for the farm sector is quite a huge challenge due to the complexity of the calculation method, selecting the factor and continuously monitoring the performance data. The achievement of the independent assurance statement that we provide is a testament to the serious and professional work of the Vinamilk team. We firmly believe that as a leader in greenhouse gas inventory and emission reduction initiatives for the agricultural sector, Vinamilk will have the opportunity to be one of the first units to advance to Net Zero in the coming year 2050.”
