According to the Ministry of Industrial Development and Promotion, Republic of Congo, the Program of Verification of Conformity “PCEC” will officially relaunch from July 4, 2023. Thus, all regulated products imported into Congo market need to comply with the PCEC standards and be accompanied with a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for Customs Clearance.
Bureau Veritas has been designated by the Congolese Agency for Standardization and Quality (ACONOQ) to carry out the conformity assessment program for products exported to the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville/Pointe Noire).
Our assessment is based on:
- Verification of product conformity to Congolese, regional, international standards and technical regulation
- Documentary review
- Control testing (if necessary)
- Physical inspection
- Conclusion of the assessment
