Participate in the Workshop "Knowing quality standards while exporting food to European markets" with the expert of Bureau Veritas Vietnam

On the morning of June 29, 2022, Bureau Veritas Vietnam was pleased to accompany international organizations such as Asian Development Bank (ADB), WISE Investment Fund etc, to organize the webinar program: “KNOWING QUALITY STANDARDS AND EXPORT PROCESS WHILE EXPORTING FOOD TO EUROPEAN MARKETS”. The workshop highlighted the participation of over 100 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) working in the manufacturing and trading of agri-food products and having the intention of new market penetration in EU nations.  

Due to an evolving concern of food safety in recent years, many countries worldwide (European nations) have enacted rigorous certification regulations on agri-food displayed by current international certification specification. Therefore, this program was held to unravel challenges and stimulate the sustainable competitive scope for agri-food exporters in Vietnam. 

FOOD QUALITY STANDARDS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF BUREAU VERITAS VIETNAMESE EXPERT 

For the representative of Bureau Veritas Vietnam, Mr. Phuong Dai Tran – Food Business Development Manager displayed obligatory requirements of certification on the quality of agri-food merchandises across food chain such as GLOBALG.A.P., GFSI, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO 22000, HACCP, IFS. Also, he emphasized that “The food quality compliance in foreign markets (the United States and European nations) facilitates channel accessibility in a global scale.
