Reinforcing Food Safety Commitment at InterContinental Halong Bay Resort with ISO 22000 Certification from Bureau Veritas

On August 14, 2026, Bureau Veritas Vietnam was honored to present the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System Certification to InterContinental Halong Bay Resort, recognizing the effective implementation and operation of its food safety management system for food and beverage preparation and serving activities across the resort.
Achieving ISO 22000:2018 marks an important milestone in InterContinental Halong Bay Resort’s journey to enhance service quality and strengthen food safety performance. The certification demonstrates the resort’s commitment to meeting international food safety requirements while helping to build customer confidence, elevate guest experiences, and reinforce its position within the premium hospitality and resort industry.
ISO 22000:2018 is an internationally recognized standard for food safety management systems that enables organizations to identify, control, and reduce food-related hazards throughout the entire food preparation and service process. The standard promotes a risk-based approach, strengthens food safety controls, and supports continual improvement to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
As an independent certification body, Bureau Veritas Vietnam conducted the ISO 22000:2018 certification assessment process, including Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits, evaluation of audit results, and certification issuance. The certification was granted under UKAS accreditation, ensuring the objectivity, credibility, and international recognition of the assessment process.
The certificate handover ceremony further highlights InterContinental Halong Bay Resort’s commitment to food safety, service excellence, and continual improvement.
