Validation/ Verification of carbon credits

To be eligible for trading, offsetting, or exporting, carbon credits must be validated and verified by competent, independent organizations.

What is Carbon Credit Validation / Verification?

This is an independent assessment service conducted in accordance with international standards or national regulations, aimed at confirming:

  • The eligibility and additionality of a greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction or removal project (Validation)
  • The actual quantity of GHG emissions reduced or removed (Verification)
This service is MANDATORY in order to:
  • Have the project recognized and issued carbon credits
  • Ensure that the carbon credits are eligible for trading on domestic or international platforms
