OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this course delegates will have been provided with:
- An understanding of the concept of Hazards originating at the workplace and identifying them on a real-time basis.
- An understanding of the philosophy behind, the modern approaches to OH&S management.
- An understanding of the basic requirements of the BS OHSAS 18001 standard on the various elements of Hazards and the expectation from a good OHSMS system to consider all aspects while identifying hazards.
- Complete understanding of the Risk Assessment process.
DELEGATES
Familiarity with the structure and requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 would be of benefit. Lack of this will not be detrimental to those joining this course
This course is designed for; all levels of management and those whose responsibility it is to implement new systems or maintain existing systems; for all those involved in advising and auditing OH& S management systems. The course will be particularly useful for delegates planning to attend IRCA certified OH & SMS Auditor Training Course.

- Evolution of the need for the organizations to identify their Occupational Health &Safety risks and methods to manage them.
- Analysis of the requirements of the Standard regarding Hazards identification and various aspects related to them
- Ways and methodologies for a scientific Risk assessment process
