Since 2016, I’ve started working at Bureau Veritas as a technician. After experiencing many challenges, going through lots of training as well as receiving many opportunities to improve myself. After nearly 3 years working at BV with a spirit of constant effort, I have strongly applied for the position of Head of Chromatography Department and have been in charge until now.

Can you describe a few lines about your career path at BV? How did you get to where you are now?

At the end of 2016, I joined Bureau Veritas as a Lab Technician, with my constant learning and hard work, I was assigned the position of Manager of the Chromatography Department from 2019 until now.

What do you look for when applying to BV? Why did you choose BV at that time?

At that time, I was a technical employee in the chemical industry, having just completed 2 years of experience. With the desire to work and learn in a professional environment to develop my expertise and skills to a new level. At that time, I considered BV to be the right company for me to fulfill my aspirations.

Can you describe your first days at the BV? What is your general impression/feeling?

Working for the first time in a multinational company like BV made me feel both happy and worried. Worried about whether I can do well in such a professional environment? And then I am very fortunate to have colleagues and managers who have guided me and created many conditions for me to adapt and promote myself until today.

What is your greatest professional achievement at BV?

Up to this point, the expansion of plant protection drug testing groups with the number of more than 600 substances, will certainly be more in the future.

And what is the biggest challenge you face?

Research and complete test packages in accordance with customer requirements as well as the trends of domestic and foreign markets.

What did you expect when offered many development opportunities at BV?

It is possible to make good use of the conditions provided by BV to develop the laboratory to become stronger, standing stronger next to other departments in the country as well as BV labs abroad.

Working at BV is choosing a company that has a positive impact on the daily lives of billions of people. How do you feel about that?

I feel proud and will always remind myself to constantly strive to create more and better value for customers.

What would you say to a candidate considering a job at BV?
