Against the context of Vietnam's rapidly expanding aquaculture industry, the demand for aquafeed has surged. The trend of substituting fishmeal with soybean meal makes sourcing sustainable soybeans that meet standards like GLOBAL GAP, BAP, and particularly ASC FEED, increasingly critical. The ASC FEED Standard mandates that plant-based ingredients must be responsibly sourced, ensuring no deforestation or land conversion. During the dialogue, Bureau Veritas collaborated with USSEC and industry experts to address queries and help resolve specific challenges faced by businesses in this field.
As a leading consulting and certification agency, Bureau Veritas is committed to supporting Vietnamese enterprises in embracing global trends and enhancing their competitiveness through adherence to the most stringent international standards.
