Bureau Veritas Partners With Suntory Pepsico: Green Journey With The 6th Factory In Vietnam

We are thrilled and honored to be entrusted by Suntory Pepsico as the consulting firm to provide Design Review and Construction Supervision services for the construction of the 6th factory in Vietnam, which is also the Group's largest and most modern factory in the region. With a total estimated investment of more than USD 300 million in Huu Thanh Industrial Zone, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province.

Located on an area of about 20 hectares, the Long An factory is expected to be operated by renewable energy such as biomass and solar energy, helping to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions during production activities. At the same time, the products are packaged from 100% recycled plastic. This is a step forward for Suntory Pepsico in realizing the sustainable commitments of the Vietnamese government, especially the commitment to reducing net greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2050.

This is not the first cooperation project between Bureau Veritas Vietnam and Suntory Pepsico. Previously, Bureau Veritas had provided Supervision Consultancy services for the project of repairing, upgrading and renovating the Suntory Pepsico factory in Tra Noc Industrial Zone, Phuoc Thoi, O Mon, Can Tho Province.
