Bureau Veritas signed the “Project Management Consultant Services” bid package for the project Refrigerated LPG Storage

On October 2023, Bureau Veritas signed the “Project Management Consultant Services” bid package with Yen Hung Petrochemical JSC (YHP/E1 terminal) for the project Refrigerated LPG Storage with a capacity of 176.400m3 located at Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone, Quang Ninh. The project includes 01 cold LPG storage (capacity 160,000m3), 01 pressurized LPG storage (total capacity ~16,400m3 LPG) and production capacity of 1,500,000 tons/year.
Bureau Veritas’ scope of work includes:
- Project management
- Design review
- Supervisor for the civil & structure
- Supervisor for tank, piping and mechanical
- Procurement management
- Supervisor electrical & instrument
- HSE management
- Pre-commissioning, commissioning

The Project area is about 8 km from the Hai Phong - Ha Noi Highway and is connected to a number of national highways including National Highway No. 10 and No. 18. Approximately 1.5 km from the Project is the highway link connecting the Hai Phong – Ha Long highway with the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone.

According to the forecast of the Vietnam market growth, the use of refrigerated storage tanks provides opportunities for businesses to access cheap refrigerated LPG with large volumes, decreasing the cost for intermediate storage and transport.
