At a town hall session with staff of BV Vietnam, Ms. Hinda Gharbi appraised that Vietnam's economy has had a positive development, especially in the field of energy transition and infrastructure development. With the world heavily impacted by Covid-19 as well as difficulties related to global energy shortages, supply chain disruptions, and inflation, it has directly affected customers and their decision to invest and use services.

Ms. Gharbi noted that the sustainability movement has accelerated to the point where it is no longer just an environmental issue. With this in mind, she believes that Bureau Veritas has the ability to relieve the pressure and expectations and help our customers who want to deliver their services with the best sustainability practices.

Ms. Gharbi also reiterated the Group's goal of developing energy services and is encouraged that BV Vietnam is well-placed in taking the lead in sustainable energy transformation in the region.
