Bureau Veritas is proud to participate in the Vietnam Wind Power 2021 on 1-2 December 2021, organized by Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and Informa Markets and in partnership with British Embassy, GIZ, the Danish Embassy Hanoi, Innovation Norway, and the Norwegian Embassy.

This fourth edition of the event will be held in hybrid format that combines both physical at the International Convention Center (ICC) in Hanoi and digital participation experiences.

The event will shed light on the wind energy transition propelled by the spectacular progress of renewable energy in Vietnam, how wind power plays a bigger role in Vietnam’s future energy mix, as well as the big picture of offshore wind being successfully deployed globally and in Asia.

OFFSHORE WIND DEVELOPMENT FORUM

This session is designed to share the big picture of offshore wind being successfully deployed globally and in Asia. The session focuses on the offshore development challenges in Vietnam: Policy and infrastructural planning, as well as other missing pieces for offshore wind to reach its potential in Vietnam.

Stephan Ciniselli 
Global director OFFSHORE WIND – BUREAU VERITAS

Stephan has been in the power and renewables industry for 20+ years with a particular focus on solar PV, onshore wind, and offshore wind (in owner-operator, OEM, management consultant, and service provider roles).

He joined Bureau Veritas in 2019 and was appointed Global Director Offshore Wind in January 2021, based in Paris, France.

Lorenzo Claveri
Head of the Wind Technical Center – BUREAU VERITAS

His main responsibilities are to build and lead the Technical team then provide technical guidance to wind power projects for Vietnam and other countries covering from feasibility study to technical due diligence.

Prior to joining Bureau Veritas, Lorenzo Claveri was Senior Technical Principal at Mott MacDonald where he was in charge of the technical leadership in wind energy yield, business development, client relationship management, and digital transformation of wind services for East Asia and South East Asia region.
