ABOUT PSCI
Formed in 2006, PSCI is a non-profit business membership organization that promotes responsible supply chain management across the industry. PSCI created the Pharmaceutical Industry Principles for Responsible Supply Chain Management to set out relevant practices across five key areas: ethics, labor, health and safety, environment, and management systems. All businesses operating within the pharmaceutical supply chain are expected to uphold these principles. PSCI currently has 40 members.
PSCI aims to promote responsible practices that will continuously improve ethics, labor, health, safety, and environmentally sustainable outcomes in the supply chain. Its member companies have joined forces to drive complex, global change in terms of responsible supply chain management and better business conditions across the industry.
PSCI provides a common voice for the pharmaceutical industry, setting standards for ethics, labor, health and safety, environment, and management systems. This includes defining common supplier assessment tools such as audit frameworks. PSCI carries out audits and promotes audit sharing to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
