MS. QUYNH DANG

Could you describe in a few lines your career path at BV? How did you get here?

When I first started working at BV more than 10 years ago, I worked as a sales executive in the Training Department which offered ISO and Soft Skills courses provided by BV to companies/organizations in need. After 4 years in the position of Sales Executive in the Training division, with the knowledge and experience acquired, I was officially admitted as Sales Executive in the Certification division. After many years of experience accumulation and skill improvement, I am currently holding the office of sales manager of the certification division in the northern region of Vietnam, with the goals of further development and expansion of the BV services and deeper penetration into the volatile market of a developing country like Vietnam.   

What were you looking for when you applied to BV? Why did you choose BV at that time?

To my knowledge, BV is a global organization with hundreds of years of history and I realize the value that BV brings to the economy, then I desire to contribute partly to this development, and also to experience the international work culture, as well as enjoy the challenges and diversity.  

Could you describe your first days at BV? What was your overall impression/feeling?

I am impressed by the team of young knowledgeable colleagues from whom I have received a lot of support, as well as the care and sharing from my direct leaders. Every day I go to work is a very happy day, I really have made a lot of friends at work, and I am proud to say, not all of the company has this working culture.

What is your greatest professional achievement at BV?

I think my greatest achievement at BV is that I have overcome a lot of my own limitations, always have tried to fulfill my own as well as the team’s goals, from the small targets such as quarterly targets to annual targets as well as long-term strategies. And I'm proud that I've always fulfilled all of those targets over the past 10 years.

And the biggest challenge you had to face?

One of my biggest challenges at BV but also an opportunity is that I will face the growth and diversification of BV services, which requires the very high competence of individuals in the team as well as the very high support with international elements.

Were you expecting to be offered so many development opportunities at BV?

Working at BV has no definition of "stagnation"; you have to develop, always develop, at any time, everywhere, constantly develop to bring more practical and more quality values to your customers, that's why I always look forward to having more opportunities to develop myself and my work at BV.

Working at BV is choosing a company positively impacting the day-to-day lives of billions of people. How do you feel about that?

Wherever there is sustainability, safety, and positivity, there is always the presence of BV. I am proud to work at BV, an organization that provides trust and safety to billions of people globally every day.

If you had to choose 3 words to describe your daily work, what would they be?

Connect, Share, Succeed. We connect with each customer, listen to the sharing of each customer's needs and aspirations as well as their difficulties, from which we find a common voice of cooperation and lead to success.
