On 15 November 2005, Europe officially issued COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 2073/2005 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs that's included many Micro-organisms/ their toxins, metabolites: Aerobic colony count, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella spp, Staphylococcal enterotoxins, E. coli, Histamine, Shiga toxin producing E. coli (STEC) O157,O26, O111, O103, O145 and O104:H4, Enterobacteriaceae, Coagulase-positive staphylococci, Presumptive Bacillus cereus . In Vietnam, the Ministry of Health (MOH) issued Vietnam National Technical Regulation QCVN 8-3:2011/BYT regarding the limits of Microbiological contaminants in food.
