FOOD SAFETY CULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AS FSANZ AND GFSI REQUIREMENTS

FOOD SAFETY CULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
AS FSANZ AND GFSI REQUIREMENTS

INTRODUCTION

Food safety culture is one of the statutory requirements of FSANZ. In addition, it is also one of the tools required by GFSI to apply to their recognized standards (e.g. IFS, SQF, BRC, Global GAP, FSSC...). As such, understanding the requirements to develop a food safety culture is not only a matter of standards but also issues related to legislation. There are many ways to develop a food safety culture. However, two popular methods are GFSI and FSANZ requirements.
