ENERGY AUDIT
Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore provide energy diagnoses based on ship design, configuration, and operating profile. Our experts perform hydrodynamic evaluations and produce a detailed ship model using our in-house developed Seecat software. This audit enables us to define potential energy gains, and identify the most efficient solutions to improving vessel efficiency.
HULL FORM OPTIMIZATION
With its state-of-the-art proprietary methodology, Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore proposes advanced solutions for vessel accuracy and ROI. We perform optimization of hull form and appendages with regards to resistance, propulsion and added resistance in waves, either during the design process, or through retrofitting.
RETROFIT OPTIMIZATION
Retrofit optimization helps clients improve hydrodynamic efficiency by adapting their ship’s design to real operating conditions. Our experts perform optimization studies for bulbous bows, appendages and propellers. TRIM OPTIMIZATION
Vessels operating with optimal trim significantly reduce their OPEX and fuel consumption. To determine a vessel’s ideal trim, Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore uses our in-house developed trim optimization software and a linked database designed with advanced CFD calculations. This enables crews to determine their vessel’s ideal trim with respect to ship displacement and speed.
